Blue Shoes

I don't really own many blue shoes.  Most likely because I am not drawn to them, when shopping. Plus, although I am a stylist and could give 50 ways to wear them, I still feel challenged.  They go fabulous with white jeans or gray skirt, and if you really want to wow, pair them with bright yellow pants and green dresses, but, I (as we know) am a neutral, pinky type of girl. Yet, I am attempting to change it up with these Giuseppe Zanotti heels. The blue hue is regal and for summer I think I can certainly work these, I'm thinking black leather shorts to start.

The Great Gatsby (Fashion by Prada}

I went to see The Great Gatsby purely out of the desire to see the lavish display of fashion and glamour. It certainly pleased the appetite for that. I adore all of the styles including Leonardo's pink suit! The partnership with Prada for the film was the undeniable perfect choice for achieving these 1920's looks.

Style Guide { Luxe Beach Bags}

I try to make it to the beach most weekends during the Summer, even if it is just for the day. Since I live in a state that really only gets 3 good months of hot sunny weather, we must take full advantage. Enter the beach bag, it has to be cute, it has to be efficient, and it must be luxe.  Since most likely it will take us from a day at the beach to late afternoon cocktails seaside.

Perlier

When I travel to Italy I get so excited to try new beauty products, ones hard to find here in the US. Well you can imagine how happy I was to find Perlier here and easy to purchase. The Body Honey Miel is heavenly in the shower, and the Olivarium olive oil shower cream takes me right back to Italy. The summer is when we need to have gorgeous glowing skin, since we are in the most revealing clothing and swim suits.

Sarah Jessica Parker at Met Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker definitely understood the punk couture theme for the Met Gala. Wearing a custom Giles gown, Fred Leighton Jewels and custom made Christian Louboutin thigh high boots, she certainly wowed the crowd. The mohawk style head piece by Philip Treacy was the ultimate topper. SJP never let the style of Carrie go, and I love that.
