Welcome to our website !

I love a good pair of dark wash denim jeans.  They are practically all I wear. Keeping them the same color as when I purchased them is another story. I have worked long and hard to find the best ways to keep them as dark as the original without my hands still turning blue while wearing them.
  • Turn your denim inside out, and only wash denim in the load, no other clothing
  • Use cold water on a gentle wash cycle add mild detergent plus 1tsp white vinegar per pair of denim in wash
  • Vinegar helps set the dye, is a natural cleaning agent and odor remover
  • Also try a specialized detergent for darks
  • Add fabric softener for fresh smell and to soften clothing
  • Lay out until partially dry then on low heat, do not over dry will fade color
  • Wear denim 3 times before washing again
Hope these tips help.

As much as I love fashion, I spend the same amount of time on makeup. Brushes are essential for really getting the look right especially with eyeshadow. I have tried many different brands.  Crown brushes are absolutely amazing they feel soft on the skin and have every size for fine details to sweeping on highlighter. Having a sister that is a makeup artist I've learned what to look for in a brush. The pretty purple handle quickly pulled me in but the quality kept me.

Lilly Pulitzer for Target is launching April 19th and has totally caught my attention today. I love the pop of pretty colors and classic tropical prints. I don't often shop Target for the clothing department but I am contemplating a trip there soon. Since Spring is here and Summer not to far behind these are the types of hues I can't wait to wear.  I am eyeing the pink chevron inspired bikini  and certainly can use a new beach tote.  Finally, the sweet pink eyelet shorts are too hard to resist.

Many designers like Suno, Templerly London and Chanel have embraced the matchy matchy trend. We have also been seeing it in stores like Zara, Banana Republic, and Topshop.  What's great about this trend is it is easy to find and you can start out with just match the same color top and bottom then try stripes, polka dots or floral prints.  The crop top trend is perfect for hot summer days. Try it with a high waisted skirt or pants if not comfortable with showing too much skin. Plus it looks cute under a sheer top or open button down too.  Mixing prints and colors is the next step in working this trend. It can make you feel more comfortable if buying the matching pieces and then wearing them as separates with contrasting pieces. Its a fun way to show style and a little quirky personality.

It is hard to really look at Fall 2015 collections when you are craving summer weather.  The styles from Alexander McQueen's Fall 2015 collection made it a little easier with all the blush tones.
I need to get my hands on the long shinny blush coat.  The sweet ruffle dress is actually totally wearable in warmer temps too bad it wont be available until Fall.   Pairing red with blush seems to always be a stunning combination. One I rarely try myself. Having a dress "ready made" in two tone makes it a piece I need.

I have been seeing bucket style bags for the past 2 seasons and have yet to buy one. I am not sure I am 100% set on the look of the bag. I also don't know how I feel about how it sits when wearing it over the shoulder. Many designers have jumped on board including Saint Laurant, Proenza Schouler and Moschino. If there is one that I personally might consider it is by Chloe,  in general one of my favorite designers and the flatter style fits me a bit better.

There is always a thrill to sit front row of a designer runway show you love. Ever since Marissa Webb launched her signature collection I have been attending her presentations and runway shows. This season I was snapping aways picture of my favorite pieces. Marissa Webb’s designs blend elements of architecture and nature by mixing tailored pieces with whimsical softness and flow. It was hard to pick just a few, since the entire selection was wearable. The blush pink tones obviously were stand out styles for me.

It's the season for fashion again in New York. The Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week shows just ended and it is always a whirl wind. The past few season's I have been invited to attend the Giulietta show. Designed by Italian born Sofia Sizzi, it is always infused with her passion for 1960's cinema.  Before the show even starts I love admiring all the Italian fashion girls at the show. Their particular style is an eclectic mix of designer brands. As the lights went down and the show began the dark glamour inspired by Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Conformist" walk out.  There were sharp geometric prints, chevron patterns and touches of crystal sparkle. As always I was drawn to the glimmering embroidery on the militaristic dresses and coats. The final walk ended on a airy high note of soft rose and jade tones. Giulietta is a show that truly inspires me with every new collection

It's almost the start of another New York Fashion Week, they always seem to come around so fast. My first look is warm in all sense of the word. Wearing a cozy knit sweater with an unseen ruffle in the back and a fitted ivory pencil skirt with flecks of gold metallic.  Finished with tights of course and my boots of the season.

Throughout the winter in the northeast tights are a go to when getting dressed. If you follow my instagram you will know I am a girl that loves a great dress and sweet skirts. With the temps dipping way below freezing it is virtually impossible to step out of the house with bare legs.  My ultimate in warm but still sultry leg covering comfort is a pair of Wolford tights. They feel like silk and are the perfect accessory to keep cold legs warm and stylish.

I am always working on fashion segments for TV and previewing a ton of clothing to possibly feature. A site that has been my go to as of lately is Lulus.com. I can always find the perfect piece that is on trend. Most recently I chatted to Meredith Vieira about how to mix and match prints. This striped skirt completed the outfit perfectly, and everyone fell in love with it.  On Better TV I brought along these slip on sneakers that are practically a must have right now. I personally had to have the most adorable pink dress, I paired with a little crop top. There are just too many fab finds not to shop!

Shown : Gap Sweater, Banana Republic Skirt, Wolford Tights, Christian Louboutin Boots

I am not the biggest fan of cold weather and lots of layers. Living in the state of New Jersey kind of forces me to do it. I like to try to find stylish pieces that will last year after year. This sweater seemed like a great deal. It's navy blue chunky knit and can be dressed up with a skirt or down with dark denim. That is until I put it on, to say it was itchy would is being nice. It was practically unbearable. I had to put a long sleeve top underneath it which in turn made the arms feel snug. Needless to say you will find this on Poshmark or being donated.
